At the conclusion of week one at the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women 56th Session, trade union women have worked very hard to have the voices of working women heard at every venue.
There is much to celebrate as this first week concludes. Historically, the 56th session will be recorded as the very first session where every official UN panel featured a trade union woman speaking to the issues.
