Women’s Rights and Gender Equity in the Changing World of Work

By Brigid O'Farrell

On Sunday, 12 March over 150 trade unionists joined 8,600 NGOs at the United Nations NGO CSW61 Forum, a larger gathering than the Beijing Fourth World Conference in 1995.

The Opening Program included a Panel on Women’s Rights and Gender Equity in the Changing World of Work with Elizabeth Tang, General Secretary, International Domestic Workers Federation (3rd from right).
