What a great opportunity to hear from leaders from different generations in the YWCA’s “Gender Equality: Where is the progress? Creating hope in a world in poly-crisis” event. It was exciting to hear all the amazing programs and initiatives that these leaders are running. My takeaway is that being successful with intergenerational leadership is not looking at age, but rather the experiences that everyone brings to the table! Too often we rely on our biases and make many assumptions, and then wonder why it’s not working. I will be using this thoughtful idea moving forward!
